报告人简介：Kisoo Yoo received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University, M.S. degrees from KAIST and Ph.D. degree from Washington State University, where he performed the research focused on design, synthesis and characterization of novel electrolyte for Li/Air and Li/S batteries. Currently, he is assistant professor at Yeugnam University. Prior to joining Yeungnam University, he conducted postdoctoral research at National Energy Technology Lab (NETL, U.S.A) for 7 months. Central to his efforts is the synthesis and analysis of novel electrolyte based on ionic liquid, fabrication and test of Li/Air and Li/S battery, and analysis of thermal behavior of Li-ion battery/module/pack.

报告人简介：Jungwook Choi received the BS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea in 2006 and 2013, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University from 2014 to 2016. He then joined the School of Mechanical Engineering at Yeungnam University as an assistant professor. His current research focuses on modeling, design and fabrication of nanomaterial-integrated micro/nanosystems.

报告人简介：Born in Nov.1966, graduated from Northwestern Polytechnic University in 1988 and 1991 for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He got Ph.D. from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics in 1994 in the field of machining and manufacturing automation. He worked as Postdoc in School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science & Technology from 1994 to 1996. He became the professor of School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1999. And he worked as senior visiting research scholar in S. M. Wu Manufacturing Research Center, College of Engineering, University of Michigan from 2001.02 to 2001.07; in Precision machining Laboratory, School of Mechanical Engineering, Kyungpook National University from 2002.08 to 2003.07; in Ohmori Materials Fabrication Laboratory, the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) from 2006.10 to 2007.04.
Prof. CHEN has published over 300 journal papers and 6 books. His major contributions lie in machining theory on difficult-to-cut materials and cutting database, high speed cutting and high efficiency grinding theory and technology, diamond coated tools fabrication and application, micromachining and cutting tool design. He has been the leader of more than 100 projects from government and industries.
